SoftPOS questions

What do I need to start accepting payments? +

A phone and a Hesabe account. SoftPOS turns the phone into the terminal — there's no extra hardware to buy, with a one-time 25 KWD setup and a plan that fits (daily 5.5 KWD, monthly 15 KWD, or annual 180 KWD).

How do the rates compare to a physical terminal? +

SoftPOS carries the leanest in-person rates on our published schedule: KNET at 1.5% + 0.100 KWD and credit cards at 3.0% + 0.100 KWD — versus 2.5%/4.0% at a physical terminal.

Can my whole team use it? +

Yes — add employees as sub-users with permissions customized to their role, and every team member's payments roll up into the same real-time reports.

What if the phone is lost or damaged? +

Unlike terminals, the published schedule lists no replacement, loss or damage fees for SoftPOS — there's no Hesabe device involved. Reactivate on another phone and keep selling.
